Volunteers of America of Florida is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that has served Floridians-in-need for over twenty years with affordable housing, outreach, case management, and supportive and employment services. Our programs provide housing and supportive services for 1) homeless veterans and their families, 2) homeless persons and families, 3) persons with severe and persistent mental illness, and 4) frail elders – serving over 5,500 individuals and families annually who share one thing in common – a lack of financial resources. We serve Floridians-in-need offering 72 programs and services in 19 Florida cities and Puerto Rico. The mission of Volunteers of America of Florida is to foster life-long learning and inspire Floridians to become contributing members of society. Volunteers of America of Florida has a vision of Florida communities where all people live with a spiritual sense of well being, opportunities for training and employment and a place to call home.
